Corruption of the Bible

Some people believe that the Holy Bible (Torah and the Injil) has been changed/corrupted. However, what often confuses is the different translations. Because different languages and cultures express words in different ways, the Bible was translated so that people everywhere could understand it.

However, its message has remained constant from the beginning: God is one, He loves us, and He has prepared a way for us to enter His paradise.

The reliability of the Bible is supported by thousands of ancient manuscripts, such as the Dead Sea Scrolls and early church manuscripts, which date back centuries before Islam. These manuscripts demonstrate that the text has been faithfully preserved.

Additionally, some Muslim scholars have acknowledged that references to the Torah and Injil in the Qur’an indicate that they were present and recognized during the time of Muhammad

Al-Tabari in Jāmi‘ al-bayān (Part 3, 323), one of the most comprehensive commentaries, expresses views on some Christians changing (tahrif) the meaning of the Bible, primarily through tahrif bi’l-ma’ni (misinterpretation) rather than tahrif bi’l-lafz (text alteration). He contrasts righteous Christians, who uphold their scriptures correctly (Surah Al-Imran 3:113-114), with those who distort meanings, indicating not all Christians are guilty of tahrif.

Who We Are

We believe in one God who revealed Himself to humanity throughout history. We believe that God manifested Himself in the person of our Lord Jesus Christ, through His teachings, holiness, miracles, and resurrection, to show us His love in a complete way.

We hold fast to the teaching of the prophets and the apostles as written in the Holy Bible, believing that the way to draw near to God begins with sincere repentance from sin (turn to God), baptism in Jesus name, and being filled with the Holy Spirit, which changes the heart and gives new life.

Our message is an invitation to know God personally, to receive His forgiveness and healing, to live in purity and love, and to obtain the assurance of eternal life in peace with God.

One God

We believe in one God, creator of the heavens and earth, merciful, powerful, and holy. God is one being, not three separate persons as in the concept of the Trinity. We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is the complete revelation of God, and that in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily (Colossians 2:9).

The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are not three gods, but manifestations of the one God. Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, maintaining the complete attributes of both divinity and humanity in one person.

The Word of God

The Holy Bible, including the Old Testament (Torah) and New Testament (Injil), is a collection of 66 books originally written in Hebrew and Greek by approximately 40 writers over a span of 1,500 years. The New Testament was written by the apostles and the disciples of Jesus Christ. Thousands of ancient Greek manuscripts and early translations of the Gospel exist, dating back to the early centuries, helping researchers verify the accuracy of the text throughout history.

The Miracles of Jesus

We believe in and expect miracles in our lives. Our Lord Jesus performed many miracles that demonstrated His power and mercy: He healed the sick, opened the eyes of the blind, cleansed lepers, fed the multitudes, and raised the dead. These miracles testified that He was more than a prophet — He was the Word of God made flesh. His resurrection from the dead remains the greatest miracle. Miracles are not limited to the past; they continue as manifestations of God’s power today in healing, deliverance from sin, and spiritual blessings. This belief remains central to our faith and ministry, as evidenced by hundreds of thousands of documented testimonies of miracles all over the world.

The Assurance of Heaven

God is Holy and great, and when His law is violated, no good deed can compensate for that violation. God is just and does not overlook sin without consequence, yet He is also merciful and does not desire that anyone perish in hell. Justice and mercy met when God manifested as a human in our Lord Jesus Christ, and paid the price of our sins on the cross, so that we become without sin, not by our good works, but by His grace alone (Romans 3:23–25).

Assurance of forgiveness and entrance into heaven comes through faith in Jesus Christ and being filled with the Holy Spirit, by which believers are enabled to live in purity. Because of the death of our Lord Jesus Christ, we can enjoy peace and the certainty of forgiveness. The Bible says: “These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life ...” (1 John 5:13). Salvation is a gift from God through faith, not something we earn by our works (Ephesians 2:8–9).

The New Birth

The new birth mentioned in the Bible begins with sincere repentance, baptism by immersion in water in the name of Jesus Christ, and being filled with the Holy Spirit with the sign of speaking in tongues (Acts 2:38; John 3:5). This is the path that leads to salvation according to the teachings of the apostles.

It is a transforming experience that changes our human nature to be like our Lord Jesus Christ, enabling us to live a holy life, giving us power to love and sacrifice, to overcome sinful desires, and to live in inner peace and joy.

Holy Living

God’s Word teaches that holiness is expressed not only in our hearts and actions, but also in our appearance, which involves avoiding makeup and jewelry. We believe men and women should wear modest clothing that is respectful and does not draw undue attention. A man should not touch a woman except his wife. “… whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” (Matthew 5:28).

God designed marriage to be between a man and a woman who were created with distinct identities. We honor God by maintaining clear distinction between the characteristics of men and women. “A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman’s garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the Lord your God.” (Deuteronomy 22:5).

The Bible also teaches abstaining from alcohol: “And do not be drunk with wine ... but be filled with the Spirit,” (Ephesians 5:18). This principle includes abstaining from drugs and smoking.

Apostolic Pentecostal

The term “Apostolic” expresses commitment to the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ and the apostles, as practiced by the early church. Jesus said in Matthew 28:19–20: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations… teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”

The term “Pentecostal” refers to the transformation that happened to the disciples on the day of Pentecost when they were filled with the Holy Spirit, and the first sign was speaking in tongues. That same event continues today in the church (the community of believers).

Prayer

Prayer is an essential part of the Christian life. As believers, we are called to pray continually and stay in constant connection with God. According to the Bible, prayer is not limited to a specific time of day or a particular place. We can speak with God anytime and anywhere — in gratitude, need, worship, or reflection. Prayer is an ongoing relationship, not a scheduled ritual.
